TO'GS triumphed in a matchup of put-upon veteran QB's, beating Donovan McNabb and the Washington Redskins 17-13. Rookie running back Toby Gerhart stepped up big-time to fill the shoes of the injured Adrian Peterson. The Vikings players seemed delighted to provide Interim Coach Leslie Frazier a "W" in his first game out of the gate, and TO'GS had his biggest smile of the season as he handed Frazier the game ball on the sidelines as the seconds ticked away.
Still, all could not have been happy in Gunslingerville, as the ominous silence from the Commissioner's office continued concerning allegations of TO'GS's alleged inappropriate contacts with "Sideline Reporter/Game Day Hostess Jenn Sterger.
We end this issues update as we end every week, with the words of ESPN Analyst Keyshawn Johnson: "One way or another, this is not going to end well for Brett Favre."

The Week Before:
TO'GS once again had a hard way to go last week, as his Vikings lost in humiliating fashion 31-3 to this former team, the Green Bay Packers. Favre appeared beaten up and dejected after the game, saying that he would have to re-evaluate whether he would be able to finish out the season. Meanwhile, as a sign of the continuing turmoil, detested coach Brad "Chilly" Childress was dismissed immediately after the game as the Vikings try and clean house. No new developments on the subject of the league's ongoing investigation of TO'GS's alleged harassment of "Sideline Reporter/Gameday Hostess" Jenn Sterger. This week, just like last week, this segment will end with the prescient words of noted commentator/philosopher Keyshawn Johnson: "one way or another, this is not going to end well for Brett Favre."
